VeneersA veneer is a thin layer of porcelain made to fit the front surface of a tooth. A veneer can be used to improve the colour, shape or position of a tooth.
The procedure for making a veneer involves two appointments two weeks apart. At the first appointment the dentist will reshape the tooth and take a series of impressions which are then sent to the dental technician. The dental technician will use the models to precisely construct a veneer with all the nuance and beauty of a real tooth.

At the second appointment the dentist will check the fit and appearance of the veneer before bonding into place.
