Nikki's journey in dentistry started when she joined Chagford Dental Practice in 2006 as a part time receptionist. Since then, she trained as a Dental Nurse and worked as the Practice Manager until 2014 when she left to study Dental Hygiene at Bristol University qualifying in 2016 and being presented with the award for Clinical Excellence. She re-joined the practice in 2017 as a Dental Hygienist.
 
As well as working in Chagford, Nikki also works as a Clinical Supervisor at Plymouth University with Year 2 dental and hygiene therapy students.
 
Nikki prides herself on providing a high standard of care, in a gentle way with a calm and understanding approach. She continues to stay up to date by attending various courses and is particularly good with our nervous patients.

In her spare time her two children Jack and Megan keep her busy with their sport and various activities. With her miniature dachshund Lola she enjoys walks on the beach and around the local area and she also breeds Siamese and Oriental cats a few times a year. She has 3 cats now Coco, Bella and Matilda and she enjoys eating out.
